Officially: Morocco Qualifies Directly for CHAN 2024 Alongside Tunisia and Libya Without Competing in the Qualifiers Due to Egypt and Algeria's Absence
The Moroccan national team has officially secured its qualification for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1 to 28, 2025.
The national team qualified directly for the continental tournament, alongside Tunisia and Libya, without having to compete in the qualifiers, due to the absence of Egypt and Algeria from the competition, leaving only three participating teams from the North African region.
It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan local team has won the CHAN title twice, in 2018 and 2020.
